This afternoon some children from Kilbroney Integrated joined children from St Dallan's PS, St Bronagh's PS, Dromore Rd PS and St Mark's high school in a Christmas concert showcasing the talented area we live in. There was music and song, poetry, instrumental music, St Mark's school band, solo singers, choirs, handbells and so much more. It was a fabulous concert thoroughly enjoyed by all both young and old. Our thanks go to Caitriona Featherstone from St Mark's High School for organising the event and to all the schools who took part, the fabulous talented pupils and the parents who helped out with lifts. We also must say a big thank you to Liz Farnan and Shelagh Roberts from Kilbroney Parish Church Handbell Group who spent the last few weeks teaching the children the Christmas tunes. We look forward to seeing them again perform this Sunday night in the Church at 7pm.
