P7 Uberheroes
P7 enjoyed a visit today from Campbell and Dee from ‘Hope 4 life NI’. They came to deliver a ‘Uberheroes’ workshop. Uberheroes uses Superhero themed comics to tackle the subject of social and mental health issues within schools and community groups.
The mental health issues are represented by the villains covering topics like cyber bullying, which we focused on today. The Uberheroes represent the characteristics that we want the pupils to emulate in their own lives to build a positive wellbeing, such as Resilience, Hope, Strength, Truth, Intelligence, Diversity and Social Inclusion.
We enjoyed the visit very much and are looking forward to a return visit soon.
