Sunflower Challenge for Air Ambulance

In term 3 last year, the boys and girls each planted their own sun flower seeds in pots and took them home and we asked for donatins towards the air ambulance charity.
Please see the email below where they would like some photographs of the sunflowers. If you have your sunflower or some images could you please send these to the info@ email address and add any information such as how tall it grew. We will then forward this on. If you wish to send in a donation towards the Air Ambulance please send it into the office in a labelled envelope. Many thanks.

 I hope you are well and had an enjoyable summer break.

 We're approaching the closing date for the Sow & Grow Sunflower Challenge! Please submit your sunflower photographs to communications@radiushousing.org by 5 p.m. on Friday, 29th September.

 When emailing photos, please:

• Include your school name in the email subject
• State Category: Tallest Sunflower, Widest Seed Head or both categories
• State whether you are entering all photographs as a school, individual class or individual pupils
• If individual pupils are entering, please state the pupils' first names only
• Please include sunflower measurements (a guide below)

 Tallest Sunflower: measure from the bottom of the plant to the base of the sunflower  head or green bud

Widest Seed Head:  measure from left to right across the sunflower face, excluding the petals

 Regarding money raised for Air Ambulance, you can donate this directly via our JustGiving page (stating Sunflower Challenge and your school name). Alternatively, we can collect the money from your school and provide you with a receipt of the total amount raised.
