Primary Five have recently had a story writing workshop led by Kate Nolan who is a visual artist based in Dublin. Kate has focused on extended photographic stories that examine the nature of identity. Primary five enjoyed listening to her read The Magician's Nephew by C. S. Lewis and discuss the different story elements used by the author. Pupils then got the chance to use a variety of writing techniques when composing their own short stories.
