Roald Dahl Day in P7
Primary Seven enjoyed celebrating Roald Dahl Day. Lily guessed correctly that it was his birthday today.
We watched and listened to the life of Roald Dahl on the C2K newsdesk. We were surprised to learn that Roald Dahl was a fighter pilot during World War 2 and also worked as a spy for MI6 alongside Ian Fleming who later created James Bond. While working as a fighter pilot, Roald Dahl was injured during a crash in 1940. He began to write stories while he recovered and this led to him to become one of the most famous authors ever.
After listening to life of Roald Dahl, P7 drew their favourite characters or book covers. We then watched some of the film 'Matilda'.
