We discussed what an Author does, and that Roald Dahl’s amazing stories inspired so many great films. We discovered we knew some of his titles of work because of these films. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was the most popular!
We watched a clip from the film James and the Giant Peach, enjoyed eating peaches for snack, coloured in some character pages as well as painting pictures of peaches during play.
Miss Rooney has promised we will watch all of James and the Giant peach if we are staying in some day during break time on a rainy day.
