Kilbroney Integrated Primary School PTA Review of the year 2021/2022

We would like to say a big “Thank You” to all the parents, staff and pupils who supported the PTA throughout another challenging year.

This was our first year as a registered charity – with new policies and procedures to get used to, and despite having some difficulties in arranging meetings (initially via zoom, then face-to-face), the PTA has been busy providing activities, equipment and other support to our school community.

Activities this year included:-

• Halloween party
• Christmas Fair
• Leprechaun Hunt
• Summer Fun Day

Equipment purchased this year includes:-

• Basketball hoops
• Football nets and a supply of footballs
• Sports and play equipment
• 2 new interactive white boards
• More equipment to come

Other support provided includes:-

• Funding for the P7 end of term trip
• Transport for the P6/P7 residential
• Refreshments for sports day
• Uniform recycling scheme

Of course, we couldn’t do any of this without your support through our fundraisers which included:-

• Christmas Fair
• Smarties Challenge
• Sponsored walk

And of course we are indebted to our loyal sponsors – local businesses who support us through donations and prizes.

We have dates of next year’s meetings planned in advance, which you will receive at the beginning of term so that you can put them in your diary and join us to continue the challenge to enrich the education provided at Kilbroney Integrated Primary School. 

Finally, we would like to say a massive “Thank You” to ALL the staff who have contributed to providing a safe, secure and supportive environment for our children to learn and grow together.
