Recycling Week P5
This week Primary Five embraced recycling week by researching what it means to recycle and how it benefits the environment. The pupils gained a deeper insight into pollution and global warming as they learned about micro plastics and the harm they cause to aquatic creatures. The class enjoyed discussing different ways the human population could help the environment by reducing, reusing and recycling plastic. To raise awareness of global warming, the boys and girls designed posters based on the theme ‘Save the Earth’. In order to give back to the environment, Primary Five also reused plastic bottles to make bird feeders and flower pots.
