🐧This week P3 finished off their topic by finding out that penguins don't only live in cold climates, they can live in warmer climates too! For a literacy task, P3 gathered information about the Little Blue and Yellow Eyed penguin that live in Australia and New Zealand. They did some great non fiction writing and created fantastic fact files!
❄P3 also used their penguin knowledge to help with their numeracy measuring task. They looked at the King Penguin which is about 100 cm in height (the same as a metre stick) and the Little Blue which is about 30cm (the same as our rulers). Have a look at their life-size penguins - there was some super measuring and amazing artwork! We even had a little snow today which made one of them seem very lifelike!
