Today Primary 1/2 went on a school trip to the Kilbroney Centre where we had fun learning about ‘Garden Birds’ which links with our current topic.
Liz Farnhan, Environmental Educator, shared lots of interesting facts about 22 different birds, the children went on a search for the toy birds Liz had hidden and the children tried to guess the types of birds that were found.
Linking Valentine’s Day Liz let the children make heart shaped bird feeders.
