We have really enjoyed our World Around Us topic on Growing. We have planted sunflowers and broad beans. We have looked after Darkling Beetles and learnt about Life Cycles of butterflies and frogs. We have read stories like The Tiny Seed, Lulu loves Flowers, Jack and the Beanstalk and The Hungry Caterpillar. We have measured using giant feet and made block graphs of mini beasts. We have painted flowers, our beautiful Cherry Blossom tree, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Jack’s Beanstalk and castle. We painted beautiful symmetry butterflies and made handprint caterpillars. What a super topic.
