We have a new group of P.5 Gardeners this term.
The weather was beautiful and the tadpoles were active in our school pond.
The children learned how to mulch strawberries with straw. This helps to keep the fruit from getting muddy.We earthed up the potatoes that the P1/2 class planted back in March, this will stop them going green.We also sowed lots of lettuce seeds, onion sets and marigolds.
Each of the children were given a tomato plant to look after at home.
