Creative Writing Competition-Fiddlers Green Festival

See email for details:   Dear Mrs Porter,    Please see below the creative writing competition that is being held during the fiddlers Green festival, 26th to the 30th of July.  Would it be possible to open this up to the school?  Myself, Gillian Toal, Karen Hughes and Caoimhe Parr are all on the kids festival committee.    Many thanks in advance Brenna   The competition is open to children between the ages of 4 and 15 years, in two sections, primary school age and secondary school age, on 1st September 2023   1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes will be awarded in each section.   * All entries must be signed by an adult capable of giving permission on behalf of the child - parent/guardian or the child's teacher who has obtained the parent or guardian's permission,   * The story must be entirely the work of the child * Entries must be between 50 and 1000 words.   * Entries may be handwritten or word-processed. Entries must be submitted to Festival office or member of Childrens Committee, before Sunday the 23rd of July or can be emailed directly to Alanna at alanna@seasidebooksni.com please use email subject  Children's Story Writing Competition   * Presentation of awards will take place in Square on the Saturday the 29th of July before the Art Presentation.
